Zensar looking to hire a chief digital officer and chief technology officer
MUMBAI: Zensar is looking to strengthen its top deck by hiring a chief digital officer and a chief technology officer, the mid-sized IT firm's new CEO Sandeep Kishore told ET.
Kishore, who joined Zensar two months ago from HCL TechBSE -1.90 %, officially took over as CEO in the middle of February. Since then he has begun the task of reshaping Zensar to achieve faster growth.
"We are putting the organization's resources into a growth-oriented market strategy. Our resources and investments were scattered earlier, now we have focused them. We are looking at bringing in a CDO and a CTO in FY17," Kishore told ET in an exclusive interview.
Kishore also plans to increase the company's focus on the European market and on offering digital services
"Europe is about 12% of our revenue. There is tremendous headroom to grow over there. Europe is one of growth vectors, together with infrastructure management services and digital," Kishore said.
Digital contributes a little over 25% of Zensar's revenue. For the quarter ended December 31, Zensar reported revenue of Rs 717.7 crore.
