John spent his career in client focused consulting, strategy, large scale transformation and solution development for clients. He began his career in management consulting with Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers with a focus on Retail and Consumer Goods.  After PWC Consulting was acquired by IBM in 2002, he spent 12 years with IBM in many strategic leadership roles.  
 
While with IBM he led the Global Retail Strategy, Solutions and Business Development teams to define IBM Retail go-to-market, solution portfolio, acquisition roadmap, and key client engagements.  As the leading partner for software, services and hardware to Retailers globally, John engaged with the most important clients and projects driving the industry.  Including early stage eCommerce, Mobile, Distributed Order Management, Dynamic Pricing, Customer Segmentation, Marketing Insights and core retail merchandising and supply chain. He led sales, delivery, development and marketing functions in many of these roles. Additionally, In this capacity, John was invited to speak at many industry events including NRF, World Retail Congress, Shop.org and others on what the leading trends and innovations were in the industry. He was also an inaugural member in IBM’s Industry Academy which is reserved for the leading industry experts in the firm. 
 
After leading major initiatives in Retail, John then became the VP of Distribution Sector (Retail, CPG, Travel & Transportation) for Asia, South America, Eastern Europe and Australia. This multi-billion dollar business unit was the growth engine of the company and with the consumer market growing globally it offered him a chance to help shape next-gen business models in these developing countries. In this capacity he became a leader in understanding Asian and South American consumer businesses and has been asked to advise on this topic with organizations and companies in both regions. 
 
For the last year, John has been with CSC to help them build their Retail, Consumer, Travel & Transportation business from the ground up and most recently has been tasked with turning around the Americas Consulting business.  In both roles, he focused on shifting the business from legacy IT services to higher value, next-gen digital services and innovation. 
 
By joining Zensar, John is looking to continue leading innovation, commerce and business transformation with clients through a more nimble, next-gen focused business model that clients expect in 2016 and one that ZenSar is leading. 
 
John has his Bachelors in Mathematics from Providence College and his Masters from the University of Virginia.
